Zendaya's purple costume design is the most recognized one from the movie and her character is rather unmistakable because she wears a soft pink wig with the hair in an up-do.

1: Some Ready-Made Anne Wheeler Costumes

 

Anne's most widely recognized outfit in The Greatest Showman is her purple leotard outfit. She wears this when Phillip Carlyle (Zac Efron) first sees her flying through the air towards him on her trapeze. She also has a matching little cape in the same purple color.

The second most popular outfit is the Anne Wheeler costume: Rewrite the Stars. This is the costume that Zendaya wears when she sings the Rewrite the Stars duet in the movie with Zac Efron.

 

Her Rewrite the Stars costume is a very cute red and cream color shorts set. This outfit is trimmed with gold detailing and she wears gold color bandages around her feet.

I cannot find the Rewrite the Stars outfit anywhere online as a ready-made option. So you would need to DIY this yourself if you especially wanted to wear it for Halloween or another occasion.

2: The Soft Pink Hair Wig and Hairstyle

One of Anne's most recognizable features is her beautiful soft pink hair which is styled into a loose and rather romantic updo. Chances are that you don't have that color of hair to start with. You really will need a wig because that and the purple costume are the best known features of this Greatest Showman character.

 

Some wigs come ready made with an updo style which is perfect if you are short on time or if hairstyling is not your thing. Alternatively, you can buy a long hair pink wig and style it yourself. You may prefer to do this if you are working hard to get the look just right.

Anne's hair is full of soft and large curls which give a really romantic and floaty feel to her hair and gives a gentle edge to her character from the very first moment that we see her. There are some great tips and photos on recreating Anne's hairstyle here.

3: Anne Wheeler's Purple Leotard Costume

Anne's main costume is a pretty purple color leotard with a V shaped nude insert down the front decorated with a silver diamante design. There is gold detailing down the V shape leotard front and there are ruffles around the leg area of the leotard that softens the look.

 

You can DIY your own leotard by buying purple leotard and customizing it to add in a nude panel at the front, some ruffles around the legs, some lace and by bedazzling it with rhinestones. The video inserted above gives you a very good idea of how to make your own version.

4: The Purple Cape

When she's not flying through the air, Anne wears a matching short purple cape. The cape sits above elbow height and is cut at the front so that we can see the detailing of the nude rhinestone section on her leotard beneath.

What I love about this cape is the neck area. The neck is a very straight collar clasping around her throat and it is finished with gold color lace trim.

5: Arm and Leg Costume Accessories

Her costume also includes bedazzled nude arm pieces or covers with ruffles around the top to match the leotard. The arm pieces are finished with pink cuffs around each wrist.

You can make your own arm pieces by cutting up a long sleeve nude leotard to create the arm shapes. Glue silver color rhinestones all over and add in ruffles along the top edge of each arm piece.

6: Her Gold Boots

When Anne is flying through the air on her trapeze, she wears strong aerial trapeze boots. These are gold in color and although called "boots" they have and open toe and are open at the heel as well.

Aerial boots are more like leather leg cuffs (similar in design to arm bracers) and they lace up at the back. You can get the exact replicas here.

 

Off the trapeze, she is better known for her pretty gold color ankle boots that have a small heel with a lace-up front.

7: Anne's Circular Trapeze

If you really want to complete the look for this high-flying trapeze artist, why not add in the iconic circular trapeze as well. You will need to cover a regular hula hoop to get the style of this accessory. Gold or purple would match in with your costume. Great for cosplay.
